Amanda + Devin September 17, 2016

Amanda and Devin planned an amazing DIY farm wedding on Devin's grandparents' property. His grandpa, Murray, and his late grandmother, June, purchased the property just outside of Owen Sound, Ontario in 1954. It is a place where the Morrison's have made many memories, so it was only fitting that it would be the scene of Amanda and Devin's wedding. Their ceremony and reception site was dreamy, down a long laneway and through a tunnel of trees and lights. There, family and friends gathered to celebrate Amanda and Devin’s love. When we first arrived at the farm it was, no joke, a torrential downpour. Throughout the day the sun continued to push away the clouds while Devin’s Dad and brother laid down mulch and hay in attempts to hold back the mud. It wasn’t until minutes before Amanda walked down the aisle that the clouds broke and the sun shone bright. The highlights of the day for us included Devin's brother walking down the aisle with a candle in memory of their late brother Jordan, Amanda and Devin’s personalized vows, the way Devin looked at the sun breaking through the clouds minutes before Amanda and her Mom walked down the aisle, pictures with Alma June (the boat named after Devin's grandmother), and of course the string lights through the tunnel of trees.
